The daily record in Lose It

Lose It describes itself on How It Works as a calorie counting, nutrition tracking and intermittent fasting tool. Its About article says personal details and weekly goals determine the daily calorie budget. The home page asks a person to keep calories within that budget.

How It Works sets out goal setting, food tracking, meeting the calorie budget, recording progress and reaching goals, with food, weight and activity recorded. The food logging guide places food entries in the daily Log, in the app or on the website. The budget help article says the budget gradually changes as weight losses are recorded.

The streak article describes the I'm Done Logging button and a logging streak, and asks for consistent meal and weight records. A required weigh-in frequency is Not stated.

The Lose It review covers the app in its own article. Other comparisons pair MyFitnessPal with Lose It, Cronometer with Lose It and MacroFactor with Lose It.

The daily tasks in Noom Weight

The Noom home page describes Noom Weight as a program designed by psychologists around behavior changes, daily lessons and food logging. Its diet article names three pillars, daily lessons, the three-color system and the food logger.

The Noomcoin guide says one coin a day comes from completing all assigned lessons, logging weight, and logging every meal with Finish Day tapped. The lesson guide says Today's Plan contains daily lessons with Read and Listen options. The diet article gives a choice of 5, 10 or 15 minutes a day for lessons, quizzes and simple tasks, with no longer option.

The weight tracking help page says Noom recommends daily weigh-ins. The program overview asks people to record everything they eat and try to stay within their calorie budget. The iOS meal guide says meal logging starts on Day 2 and earlier days can only be logged by paying members. The Lose Weight page lists weight logging, food and water tracking, and step counting.

There is also a Noom review, alongside comparisons of Noom and MyFitnessPal and Noom and Weight Watchers.

Food colors and verified database entries

Noom's food color help page bases green, yellow and orange labels on calorie density and nutritional value, describing calories per gram or milliliter. It describes green as least calorie-dense, yellow as moderately calorie-dense and orange as most calorie-dense.

The same page defines calorie density as calories in a serving divided by grams in that serving. For solid foods it places green below 1.0, yellow from 1.0 to 2.4 and orange above 2.4. The updated protein food color article gives targets of 50% green, 30% yellow and 20% orange.

The color help page says avoiding orange foods is not the goal. The program overview says no food is off limits. The color help page says custom meals, recipes and foods entered by a person have no colors.

A Lose It food scoring or color grouping system is Not stated. Its food logging guide says green check marks identify Verified Foods, indicating checked data rather than a food rating. The Highlights article describes daily observations from logged foods, available only to Premium members in the mobile app.

What the lesson and coach pages include

Lose It describes Courses as entirely text-based lessons inside the app. Each Course has a one-time payment and is separate from membership. Course pricing is Not stated. Lose It coaching is Not stated.

Noom lists short daily lessons on its home page. Its coaching help page describes Welli as AI chat and says the Noom Coaches team is reached through escalation from Welli. That page says a one-on-one coach is absent from some programs, which still include Welli, and says members with a coach hear from them once a week. It also restricts coaching to paid subscriptions.

The Premium help article describes a separately billed add-on with direct messaging to a one-on-one coach and personalized meal and exercise plans. It is offered at signup to eligible Noom Weight users in the U.S.. Its price is Not stated. The Lose Weight page instead says every user gets a personal coach. These pages do not agree on coach access.

The community guide says Noom Community opens on Day 10 and is led by Noom Coaches or moderated by Noom Moderators.

Finding the published price before signup

The Lose It website pages checked for this comparison showed no price without signing in. Its Lifetime page displays the words Login to View Pricing. The membership tiers help article publishes Premium and Lifetime prices without a login.

Noom shows no Noom Weight price on its home page or Lose Weight page. The home page points to other cost pages and describes starting with a quiz. The home page FAQ links an older Noom cost article, last updated June 3, 2026, which describes a trial of 7 or 14 days at a trial price the person chooses. The help center pricing list can be read without that quiz.

The Noom App Store description says plans start at $17 a month, based on an annually renewing $209 plan. Google Play uses the same $17 starting figure and $209 annual basis.

A year at the listed US dollar prices

These figures use listed US dollar prices before taxes or discounts. Each Noom renewal in the arithmetic is assumed to cost the same as the listed plan.

Noom says plans automatically renew unless canceled and that promotions or signup method may change pricing. Its help center does not state the renewal price. Its Terms say subscriptions renew at the then-current fee. Lose It says seasonal promotions and how often a person uses the app affect its prices.

The separate Lose It! Premium cost guide and Noom cost guide cover the published payment terms.

Who Lose It addresses in its own descriptions
