This notice is for residents of Washington, Nevada and Connecticut, and supplements our Privacy Policy. It uses the meaning of consumer health data in those states' laws.

Consumer health data we collect

Where it comes from

From you when you use TrueCal, and from Apple Health or Health Connect if you turn on sync.

Why we collect and use it

To provide TrueCal, including nutrition estimates, targets, trends and summaries, to keep the service secure, and to improve it. By logging food or body data or turning on health sync, you consent to this collection and use.

Who we share it with

Service providers that process it for us to run TrueCal, including hosting, AI processing to create nutrition estimates, and nutrition data lookups. We don't sell consumer health data and we don't share it with advertising partners.

Your rights

You can ask to access or delete your consumer health data, ask for a list of the third parties we share it with, and withdraw consent by deleting your account or turning off health sync. Email privacy@truecal.com. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the word appeal. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
