Cal AI price, what the App Store and Google Play list
Cal AI is free to download with in-app purchases on the US App Store, but its description says FOOD SCANNING ANALYSIS RESULTS REQUIRE A SUBSCRIPTION
. What you can use without paying is not stated on the Cal AI home page, FAQ or terms, and those pages name no price. The home page advertises a 3-day free trial. Apple lists purchases from $0.99 to $29.99, with no billing period attached.
All 10 purchases listed by Apple
The US App Store list repeats several names and prices. This table preserves every entry in its listed order. All prices here are US dollars.
| Listed name | Listed price |
|---|---|
| Unlimited | $29.99 |
| Unlimited Plan | $19.99 |
| Unlimited | $9.99 |
| Unlimited | $19.99 |
| Streak Restore | $0.99 |
| Unlimited | $19.99 |
| Unlimited | $2.99 |
| Unlimited | $29.99 |
| Unlimited | $29.99 |
| Unlimited | $5.99 |
No item names a billing period. Monthly versus yearly is not stated, so these amounts cannot establish a yearly subscription cost. The $0.99 entry is Streak Restore.
Google Play gives a range per item
Google Play identifies the developer as Cal AI, Inc. and lists $9.99 to $59.99 per item. It marks in-app purchases but supplies no item names or individual prices. Its app description includes no trial or price text.
That range does not identify a monthly or annual plan. For questions about the scans behind the subscription, see how accurate Cal AI is.
The website leaves plan prices unnamed
The home page, FAQ and terms publish no subscription amount or billing length. The FAQ is marked Last updated July 2026
. It refers to a family plan, but supplies no family price.
On moving between iPhone and Android, the FAQ says Subscriptions are tied to the platform you originally purchased on.
It explains that switching platforms requires a new subscription. For a paid account still seeing the paywall, it says to tap the + button to log food, then find Restore Purchase
or Already Purchased.
The subscription management page confirms web purchases with the instruction If you purchased your subscription on the web, please enter the email address you subscribed with in order to change your subscription.
No amount appears there.
The billing terms say Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
They name no price, plan length or trial. Their reference to One hundred dollars (USD $100).
belongs to a liability cap, not a subscription offer.
Both the terms and privacy policy say purchases go through third-party platforms such as Apple and Google. Their wording is Their terms govern payment processing, renewals, and refunds.
The privacy policy gives no price.
The FAQ also says a referral code cannot be applied after a subscription purchase. Its custom promo code answer begins Yes!
and directs readers to Instagram DMs, without stating a discount amount. Cancellation and refund routes are set out below.
Three free days, with renewal details left unstated
The Cal AI trial offer reads CLAIM YOUR 3-DAY FREE TRIAL
and No commitment. Cancel anytime.
Cal AI's website does not state what happens when the trial ends. Its App Store description, Google Play description and terms do not mention a trial.
Apple tells trial subscribers to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends if they do not want renewal. Its purchase help page says Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them.
These are Apple's general rules, not a published Cal AI renewal price.
Google says it emails before a trial ends. At the end, the first billing period begins and the amount in the subscription terms is charged automatically. Google says to cancel before the trial expires to avoid that charge. Its guidance says access ends at the end of the current billing period when cancelled.
The Google Play cancellation page explains that subscriptions continue for an indefinite term, with a charge at the start of each billing cycle unless cancelled. Paid access remains for the time already purchased.
Ending a subscription and requesting money back
The Cal AI FAQ says You can't cancel from inside the app.
It gives these routes for a subscription or free trial.
- On iPhone, open Settings and tap your name. Open Subscriptions, select CalAI and tap Cancel Subscription.
- On Android, open Google Play and tap the profile icon. Open Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select CalAI and cancel.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. The FAQ warns that charges continue until cancellation. Apple documents the iPhone steps, and Google documents the Play steps. Apple says a missing cancel button or a red expiration message means the subscription is already cancelled.
The Cal AI terms defer refund rules to the purchase platforms. The FAQ directs Apple purchases to Apple and Google purchases to Google. For a direct purchase, it says Bought directly through CalAI? Email us and we'll sort it out.
Apple says some purchases may qualify for a refund. Its instructions start with signing in to its refund service and choosing Request a refund. The Google Play refund policy says Google may refund some purchases under its policies and developers can help with purchase issues. Neither statement guarantees a Cal AI refund.
